Gestion Maritime Group is a shipping investment management company founded in 1908 by Genoese shipping magnate Andrea Corrado.
Over the last 20 years, the operation has transitioned from a ‘Traditional’ family shipowner model, to a professionally managed, institutional grade shipping company structure with fully integrated internal ship management.
Gestion Maritime Group focuses on different shipping markets, and employs a ‘Modernist’ approach to shipping risk and investments.
The latest techniques in financial risk and investment management, data and analytics are adjusted to the nuances of the shipping markets in order to maximise risk adjusted returns within the vessel portfolio.
Having executed over 100 vessel sales/purchases and 30 newbuild projects over its history, Gestion Maritime Group has developed strong charterer, shipyard, and service provider relationships, as well as superior technical, commercial management and shipping investment management expertise.
Our audited investment track record goes back to 2008 and far exceeds the majority in the industry on an IRR basis.
