The Maritime Risk, Investment

Gestion Maritime Group was founded in 1908 by Genovese shipping magnate Andrea Corrado.
Over the last 20 years, the operation has transitioned from a ‘Traditional’ family shipowner model, to a professionally managed, institutional grade shipping company structure with fully integrated internal ship management.
Gestion Maritime Group focuses on different shipping markets, and employs a ‘Modernist’ approach to shipping risk and investments. The latest techniques in financial risk and investment management, data and analytics are adjusted to the nuances of the shipping markets in order to maximsie risk adjusted returns within the vessel portfolio.
Having executed over 100 vessel purchases and 30 newbuild projects, Gestion Maritime Group has developed strong charterer, shipyard, and service provider relationships, as well as superior technical, commercial management and shipping investment management expertise.
Our audited investment track record goes back to 2008 and far exceeds the majority in the industry on an IRR basis.
Gestion Maritime Group offers a comprehensive range of high quality shipping services and high performance tonnage for worldwide seaborne transportation of different bulk commodities.
We offer private access to the shipping markets via a formalised risk and investment management framework.
Our team is comprised of shipping, shipping finance and multi asset risk and investment management personnel, allowing alternative investors to access this ‘niche’ alternative space via a platform that employs AIMA sound practices (www.aima.org/sound-practices.html)
